I am so happy you have arrived!

Hi, I'm Karina, the founder of Grounded & Grounded Mama!
After graduating school, I worked in various marketing roles across the U.S, where I experienced firsthand the effects of stress, burnout, and anxiety. Yoga, breath-work, and meditation became my lifelines during this time, guiding me to a calmer, more centered state of mind. By 2020, these practices had become my passion, leading me to become a wellness instructor so that I could share these transformative tools with others, especially across many companies and organizations. 

In 2021, my husband and I welcomed our daughter Eva, and in 2023, our family grew with the arrival of Mila. My journey into motherhood deepened my connection to wellness, leading me to complete extensive prenatal and postpartum yoga certifications, as well as a two-year imagery meditation certification program based out of NYC. These specialized practices formed the foundation of Grounded Mama, supporting me through a smooth pregnancy, an empowering birth experience, and a strong postpartum recovery. They continue to help me build meaningful connections with my children, equipping them with essential tools for stress relief and emotional regulation.

Breath and yoga have truly transformed the way I work, live, and connect with my family. I can't wait to share these life-changing practices with you!

Our Experiences 

Our events are curated for every single student that attends, including an array of healing modalities (such as acupressure points on ears/feet/hands, essential oils, temple release massages, hands on adjustments, cupping, sound bowl therapy and more) to assist students into deeper growth, increasing self awareness and ultimately attaining a powerful and ultimate release.
